November = Bring a friend

For the children in my Kids Can Sew, mention the type of candy you received in class for Halloween and you may bring a friend to a sewing class in November. If they sign up, both of you will receive 10% off one month's class fee.

Hello all,
Wow, it was so cold this morning. Our classes are going well. I am working on my daughter's Halloween costume. First she wanted to be Rapunzel, now the choice is a porcelain doll. Mention either choice to me and look for a special treat.
Happy Halloween! Vereatha Morales

Hello Everyone,
As with anything I did have the best of intentions to write a weekly blog. However, I guess procrastination is a major obstacle. Thankfully, with sewing especially, obstacles can be overcome. Classes are progressing. For those that look at this blog, mention the blog when you register for a new class and you will receive a 10% discount on the class fee. Registration fees are not part of this offer as they are fixed.
Well, Adult You Can Make It sewing classes for October are as follows:
Level 1 will be starting on Wed at 8pm with 2 openings.
(Mon at 7pm is also available, however I need one more to make this class active.)
Level 2 begins on Wednesday at 7pm October 7th with 2 openings.
Level 3 begins on Thursday at 8pm October 8th with 1 opening.

As always, Kids Can Sew Classes allow the possibility of starting at any time. Class fees for the first month will be prorated if you do not start at the beginning of the month.

My own sewing will be my daughter's costume for Halloween. Right now she would like to be a certain fairytale lady with long hair. I will try to post pictures as we progress. First though, she has to choose the style of design and what fabric is available. Will keep you posted on the progress.
Thanks for stopping by.

County Fair 2009

What a fantastic time we had at the Middlesex County Fair. We met a lot of nice people and enjoyed the ambiance, aromas and food the fair had to offer. We talked sewing, politics, the weather, animals... you get the picture. It was so much fun. For those that stopped by, thank-you for taking the time to say hi!

Our raffle winner, Sue Osieja, will receive the $50 Gift Certificate towards classes at Sewing On The Edge. Congratulations Sue!

My fantastic webmaster has updated my webpage, thank-you Luis. Please check it out. It has been updated with the new school year times and schedule. It also has new additions to the Kids Can Sew Program.

My First Blog

Hello everyone,
Welcome to my first blog ever. I am so excited for the open house this week-end. I know it is Father's Day, so why not sneak out while they are sleeping in. Please feel free to stop by for some muffins and punch from 12- 3pm, June 21st.
If you can't make that day, please call to set up an appointment if you are interested in our Summer Sewing Camps or one of our Adult Programs.

Take care,

Vereatha
